Usually at our house, February hits and we have one thing in our mind!! Preparing for Valentine's day!!
Thinking of ways to show our love to those who live with us and for the kids,their valentines are a big deal, especially for Daniel who this year, it seems as though it were for the very first time that he can remember he got to decide how to decorate and present his valentines to the class.
I showen hin the idea of making a heart that would be folded and turned into a mouse and he looooved it. We painted one afternoon and the a few days later assembled them, put on their tails, mouth and whiskers and Daniel put heart stickers on them to make them look even prettier!!
He then asked me to help him make a whole family of them: Grandma, grandpa, mom, dad, aunts and uncles, even babies...tiny ones!!
In the Kindergarten, they had a nice Valentine's day party and all the kids were very excited!!
