San Miguel de Allende

Una ciudad linda con mis tres amores = Unas vacaciones increibles!!

We drove to San Miguel Allende from the city and it was such a beautiful drive, lots of farm land and beautiful landscapes. This is the bed and breakfast we stayed at and it was wonderful!! Very hommy, the breakfasts were delicious and the people there were so friendly. We met a family from Seattle who had a little one about 8 years old and the kids connected and played together really well.

The birds in the courtyard were a hit...the kids loved playing with them and watching them balance!!

In the main square, by the church, there was lots going on....mariachis, vendors, good food, and sliced mangoes on a cup to go!!! Our favorite!!!

We took walks up and down the town and were fascinated by the beauty!
We were able to see lots of flowers, a creek and the beautifully preserved architecture throughout the town.

We were very glad to have gone on our last trip here and this little town made me feel so much at home. Childhood memories of walking down the streets and finding familiar faces every where you go and having conversations with people you know and love every day on your way to school, to work or just as you walk to the supermarket....I miss my small hometown!!

We went by this pharmacy and the kids wanted to go in because there were 2 dogs sitting right on the counter....they were very friendly and would shake the kids hands as soon as the got closer. Soo funny, the kind of things that you only see here in Mexico!!
